Marcos Barillas
Parents: Oscar and Maria-Celeste. Sibilings: Amarilis, Consuelo, Oscar Simon, Brianna, Ian , (Marcos), Adam, Adrienne and Justin.
Synopsis prior to adulthood: Marcos came from a large family. He was used to dealing with different attitudes and people. After high school he went to college with his sibilings since he himself is a triplet. He was actually born in the second set of triplets. He majored in Biology in order to complete his desire to become a captain hero. After graduation he decided to Viramontes to try to complete his dream.

After graduation Marcos ended up renting an apartment in a so-so complex. He really didnt like it because the first floor consisted of the garage floor. He talked to the landlord and managed to remove the garage floor. He lived here and managed to find a position as a security guard.

One of the things he was not counting on was having to deal with his bosses daughter. His boss came to him and asked if Marcos would show her around. His boss hoped that Marcos would rub off some good qualities on his daughter. Marcos on the other hand hoped that he didnt fail this mission and therefore lose his job. He decided to invite "linda" over for some coffee and to get to know each other. Linda arrived and he had to admit..despite the ripped pants and the awful goth makeup she looked pretty nice. They managed to talk and from there began their friendship.

Linda got confident and began to seek Marcos to go out and have fun. Before long they both knew there was an attraction there but Marcos did not dare pursue it. "You mean to tell me that we both like each other but you dont want to go out with me because of my dad?" asked Linda. Marcos looked at her and replied," its that and well I respect your father. He wanted me to show you around. Help you get situated and you are. I think that we should really think about what we want to do." Linda replied, "were dating. Besides I told my dad and he was fine with it. See. Theres nothing to worry about." And so Marcos let his guard down and they started to officially date.

Of course you can imagine that Marcos being of the Barillas clan well he falls in love..he falls hard. He asked Linda to marry him and Linda was beside herself. She knew that it was because of him that she finally felt comfortable in her own skin. She loved this man before her and knew that it was meant to be. Without second thought she agreed and screamed ,"YES!". She was so happy that she was going to live her life with Marcos.

The wedding day was full of sunshine and the whole clan came out to wish them the best. It wasnt long before Linda noticed that her new family was quite large. Marcos was so nervous when it was his time to say his vows. Linda on the other hand thought that she was going to faint. But both managed to say their vows without too much trouble.

The Happy couple snapped this picture before their awful honey moon. They stay on tiki island but were unable to find a room. There was some form of convention. Needless to say that they didnt let that damper their honeymoon. Instead the concierge offered them a cash settlement and they were on their way back to Viramontes. You might think that Linda wold be upset about this but she was happy. She was ecstatic since Marcos announced that they would use the extra money to move out of their cramped small aparment into a new one.

"Your lying to me," said Linda's mother-in-law, Maria-Celeste. "Tell me that you guys did not come back due to some wierd convention." Linda responded, " well what could we do. I was a little sad but Marcos you should have seen him. He was so upset that they were offering a coupon. He looked at that concierge and told him where to stick that coupon. The good thing is that we get to move to a better apartment." "Hmm, you need to get Marcos to move into a house. Trust me I never lived in an apartment until the final days of my husband's life. But I would not chose to live in one now. I live in Oscar's townhome..but its better than a mulitplex of apartments." said Maria-Celeste. "Granted an apartment can be constricting but dont forget that everything that breaks..well the landlord fixes it. I love our apartment now but Marcos cant stand it. So we shall see where we move to." replied Linda. Contrary to other newlyweds Linda actually got along with her mother-in-law. Linda had to yet get some one on one time with her sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws. Wow this was a large family after all.

Marcos and Linda managed to move into this nice apartment building. They were almost ready to invite the family over when the landlord announced a tremendous rent hike. Marcos could not believe his luck. First his honeymoon gets destroyed and now this? He was so upset that he demanded to be let out of his lease. The Landlord refused but had to relent when Marcos presented him with letter of intent to sue for breech of contract. Now they were homeless so they decided to do the next best thing.

Marcos ended up finally living up to Linda's dream of actually purchasing a house. he would be in debt but he thought..what the hell...might as well do it now. They found this lovely house on the beach front. He could not believe that he was going to live on the beach front again. The only drawback is that the beach was not easily accessible.

But never fear. The size of their back yard pool more than made up for the lack of accessibility. Linda could not believe that they now owned this wonderful home. She just hoped that one day they would be able to fill it with children of their own. Oh no..dont worry. They are no where near having a child. both of them want to pay off the mortgage and have some money in the bank before they even think about kids.

Marcos invited his entire family over to his house warming party. He finally got a chance to reunite with his buddy and his sister's husband Neil Chalmers. Marcos was happy to see his sister happy in her marriage. And word had it that they were even thinking of adopting. Marcos could not believe how much his family was changing. Gone were the days of no bills or worries. The only thing that saddened him was the lack of his father being there. But all in all Marcos and his wife Linda were happy to have his family over.
