My family I believe is unique. I have two mothers that are married and I have a crazy twin sister named Isabel who is also gay. My little brother Arthur is beginning to tag along notoriously with me to no end. Its OK to have my little brother come with me... that is unless im meeting my girlfriend Heather.
Dinners at our house are always at the dining room table. My parents would not allow us to eat one in one room and one in the other. My mother, Amarilis always emphasizes that we need to eat together to have 'family time'.
My sister Isabel was nervous because we are now getting ready for our last year of high school. Before we knew it we would go to college and become young adults.
the other thing that had Isabel nervous is her declaration of love to Veronica Wade. Veronica and Isabel have been somewhat seeing each other but they were not an item yet.
I saw through our living room window that Veronica was happier than when she got to our house. Isabel later informed us Veronica did accept to be her girlfriend. I am happy to see that my sister is dating. I was beginning to worry about her not dating anyone at all.
Veronica became a regular at our dinning room table. My mom Amarilis always loved telling stories about when we were born. Needless to say that Isabel and I just wanted to run away.
Heather and I have been together for over two years. After my mom Amarilis caught us having sex we have decided to do it at Heathers house. I love Heather so much and we are even thinking of going to the same college.
Heather called me to come over and I knew something was wrong. Nothing could prepare me for what she told me that day. I thought she was going to tell me that she didnt get into university. What she told me instead was that she was pregnant. I didnt know what to say or how to react. Heather was so distraught. We both knew instantly that abortion was not an option.

We had a family gathering with my aunt Brianna and my uncle Neil. They had been married forever and maybe they could guide me on what to do with Heather. I keep trying to find the correct time to tell my parents. Heather has been harrassing me to tell them but its just hard.
Just like my grandfather Oscar, my mom has decided to have a small garden. I still cannot believe that we are farming! My aunt Brandi came over and was quite impressed with our tomato field.
My mom had planned a barbecue and we decided to eat some hot dogs inside. I got so sun burned and I regret not getting up from my tanning sooner than I did. It hurt so bad that tears would well up in my eyes. As my mom was talking to us about college, Heather decided just to blurt out that she was pregnant.
My mom almost chocked on her hot dog and simply said, "we will discuss this when our whole family is not on site."
I have to give it to my mom. I'm surprised she didnt try to kill me right then and there. Heather was happy that it was out in the open. The barbecue went on as planned and my family had a great time.
The whole family was eating and all of my families were telling us that they were proud of going to college. My family is big on college but they dont know that I am going to be a father soon.
Later when we were alone for dinner my mom Amarilis informed everyone that Heather and I were pregnant. My mother Meadow just stared at both of us and I felt that there was such an air of disappointment. My mother Meadow said no matter what I would have to go to college. She would not accept anything less. I didn't know what to do. The only thing I knew was that time to decide about college was about to run out.
"Mom, do you think that Aaron and Heather are going to live together now?"
"Isabel at this point I do not know. I just know that she and he need to decide where they are going to live and what they are going to do. Let this be a lesson to you. If you ever have questions regarding sexual safety come see me".
Heather's stomach grew as our Senior year passed. My mom Amarilis offered to help by allowing Heather to move in with us. this helped us out. I think that we are going to get married before my baby is born but I dont know what Heather wants to do.
"Amarilis, do you think that were doing the right thing by allowing Heather to move in?"
"What else can we do? Whats done is done. He just needs to go to college and he will do that if Heather is here with us."
"What if Heather wants to go to college?"
"I can concern myself with that."
Heather ended up giving birth not to one but to four babies. I thought that this would be the end of my possiblity of going to college. Heather knew that for her it was the end of her college dream.
Heather even talked about maybe putting the babies up for adoption. I would not agree with that and finally Heather gave up on the idea. It was over whelming for both of us. I have to admit that if my parents did not step in help then we would not have even a chance of making it. I ended leaving for college after an impromptu wedding at city hall.
My kids made it to a year. They are super active and we are hoping that they will not tear up my parents house. From left to right Demetrius, Minor, Sarah and Sebastian.
