Weldon (27), Shaila (25), Merlin (30) and Alfredo (25)
Narrated by Alfredo
We have all lived together for two years and we have started to notice that we are a little congested. Merlin told me that Weldon came home with makeup on one day. Apparently Shaila was embarrassed enough for both Weldon and herself. Merlin could not stop chuckling when he told me the story.
Merlin told me that he talked to Weldon about their plans about moving out. For me it would be fine if either they move or we move. According to Merlin, Weldon was all for moving out.
I came home and Merlin told me that Weldon would talk to Shaila to see if she would agree to moving out. I just felt lucky to have my sister stay with me and we have always gotten along.
Apparently Shaila was not looking foward to moving. She wanted to stay put because this was our first apartment after we left home. Weldon had his work cut out for him if he wanted to convince her of moving out.
Finally it was the talk that I was trying to avoid. It was different if Merlin and Weldon were talking about moving or staying. But us? We were a part of Quads. Literally we had not been apart since birth. First Dylan moved out then Carson...and now? Well Shaila told me that she decided to move out.
We hugged and we both had tears because we were officially separating.
We had a last dinner to tell our parents that we were moving apart from each other. Carson actually made it without Sam while our other sibilings were too busy. Sometimes I feel bad that we are not that talkative with our younger sibilings. I would have to work on that sooner rather than later.
My mom congradulated us on being adults and moving on. She was amazed that her babies were all grown up. She did tell us that our younger siblings wanted to come but were unavailable due to college, etc.
Shaila announced that they had found an apartment and were ready to move. Apparently they were going to live closer than we actually thought. I was happy for them.
When we finished helping Shaila and Weldon move we were tired. It was so strange being there alone but still we were ready to start our lives alone.
Justin Barillas ch 6
Justin (29), LaShawn (38)
Children: Cameron and Candice (twins)(2 )
Narrated by LaShawn
Now that the kids are toddlers, Justin has decided to reopen his business at home. Just-in-case is getting much more customers than before.
I still work my magic as a dazzler seller on the floor. I still tell Justin that maybe now that he's earning more he might hire another employee. I know Gordon was happy to get his job back.
Justin asked several people if they wanted to work at his store and many turned him down flat. Finally a teenager by the name of Ivy Cooper decided to join his team as a sales person. Justin held his first meeting and introduced Ivy to Gordon. Gordon got a little raise since he now restocks the inventory.
Business was booming but Ivy seemed to come on a little strong. Justin was worried and talked to her and she just smiled. Hopefully she will work on her aggressiveness.
I am still into pottery and now even manage to make some of my tea sets. I have to admit its nice when Justin tells me that I need to make more. They are so in demand right now.
We finally got Ian and Marcos to come over with their wives to have a little party. It was awesome that Adam and Cara managed to tag along. I sat by Justin and asked him why he looked so down. He told me that he received yet another complaint from customers regarding Ivy.
Ian too chimed in his opinion later that night. Justin is sometimes too nice but we all agreed that Ivy needed to go. In the end it is Justin's decision whether he retrains her or not.
Justin called Ivy in and informed her of her aggressiveness. She refused to change and even said told Justin that his business would fail without her selling skills. No need to tell you that she was fired on the spot. Justin now is worried about hiring another person.
I am 38 and that makes me 8 years older than my husband. I cant believe that I am about to turn 40 in a couple of years. I look in the mirror and I see the wrinkles starting to set in. I also started thinking about having more kids. I am almost at the cusp.
My little mid-life crisis landed me on the sofa looking at the newspaper and something caught my eye. Apparently Viramontes is offering a new Master's program that costs $9,000. Can you imagine? I immediately wanted to sign up. Not to mention the auto bonus added to my salary.
I mentioned it to Justin and he agreed that I should go ahead and do it. He himself didn't finish college and I asked him if he wanted to do it. He told me that he was too busy with the store but maybe in the future.
I signed up for the classes and instantaneously received the material to get started. Apparently its 7 courses and for each one I have to write a term paper. Ugh!
I found a glitch in the system. I have so far finished a course but I got the material for the second course. Its no wonder that I have to still do my exam for the 1st course. I cant believe that I really wanted to do this??? EEEK!

Adam Barillas --Ch 6
Adam (31), his wife Cara (27), their children (twins) Kameko and Jada (2)
The first thing we realized when we had the girls is that we needed a new apartment or a home. I really didnt want to move all of our stuff but it was too over crowded in our apartment. Cara and I looked at various houses and decided that this one would be the best for us. It was small two bedroom house but it fit us perfectly. The first day we moved in it felt like we were finally home.
As soon as we had settled everything down, my sister-in-law Brandi called to make sure we had made it OK. Cara was happy to see that my family not only helped us move but they were making sure we were OK.
When we woke up it was strange to be in a new bedroom. We received a little deal because the house was not painted inside. I just managed barely to have enough money for the down payment. Cara hugged me and said that she couldn't believe that we were parents and homeowners at that. I still couldnt believe that I was in bed knowing full well I had a business to check up on.
I still work as a celebrity chef but on my days off I head over to my restaurant to make sure things are running smoothly. I must admit that since I did the makeover business has picked up somewhat. One of my celebrity clients told me that the best thing I can do is be there for my customers to see me and interact with me. It's hard because I would rather be at home than being here. In the end with my new mortgage, I need to work hard to pay it off.
My brother Oscar Simon II came by to make sure I was handling the stress of moving and the restaurant. I assured him that everything was fine and he in turned questioned when we were going to have our house warming party. I really didnt think of that but I guess it was one of the things that Cara might have planned.
I asked Cara over breakfast a few days later and sure enough she had planned it for the upcoming weekend. I could not believe how many things one had to do when a house was bought. We had not even finished painting the upstairs and we were having a party? Cara confirmed that we were having a housewarming party and we would have a great time.
We put the girls to bed early so that we could concentrate on our guests. I am sure that with my family they would be up here any minute looking at the girls. Cara hoped that no one would disturb their sleep.
Finally my family started to arrive. Sadly not everyone could make it which is a good thing given my small house. My little brother Justin did come over and I was so happy to see him and LaShawn. They lived on the outskirts of Viramontes so it took them a while to get here. Being that the party was a late dinner, they decided to leave the girls at home with a babysitter. I made a mental note to go visit my nieces the first opportunity I had.
We all sat down and discussed what was new in our family. My brother Oscar Simon II was telling us how they had renovated their vacation home. They were encouraging us to buy into vacation property. Both Justin and I own business that give us no financial freedom to own a house at the moment. I know that Justin shut down his business for a while so I am assuming that he has no plans on a vacation home anytime soon.
Everyone finally left and before I knew it Cara and I were going at it in our living room. She gave me a wink and I was all hers.

Marcos (33), Pearla, Mateo, Eugenio and David are all 7 (they are quads).
Narrated by Marcos.
I am happy because things have been going well for both Linda and I. The hard work that I placed in trying to improve our parental relationship has worked. Whenever she passes by we managed to talk a little bit about her impending marriage and the kids. I am glad to see that she is happy. The other day, Linda even asked if I was dating someone. I guess with all the trouble at work and being with the kids gives me not time to date.
The case against the detectives was hard to win. Can you even imagine that the thieves even said that both my nephew and I were involved in it? But luckily our lawyer managed to prove that we were not involved. It was good news for us when we heard that Ms. Nanle won the case for us. She explained that the former detectives signed confessions and were not going to get a plea. They were going to jail for a long time and I am happy that we are good to go.
Ms. Nanle told me that I was able to go back to work and that my Captain wanted to see me as soon as tomorrow. I can not believe that this nightmare is finally over. When Nanale left, I swear she was so flirtatious. Anyone with a sane mind would take the opportunity of having a date with her. I on the other hand was not remotely attracted to her and I turned her down.
A few weeks later after my meeting with my captain, I got the greatest news ever. I am now Captain of my precinct and cant wait to tell the kids. I got a nice little bonus which I used to pay some bills. I still owe the $50000 lawyer retainer fee but at least im cleared. Adam was glad to hear that the drama was over and suggested we have a guys night out. I agreed and got ready to head out.
We decided to go to Crypto night club for some food, drinks and dancing. Its Odd that I am the only single man in the whole group. Justin loved hanging out since he rarely got to do this because of the twins.
I was mingling and honestly I just wanted to find someone to spend some time with. I was tired of going home alone. I met a LOT of people that night. I was chatting with Justin when I saw this hot brunette tap my shoulder. We started talking and she seemed so familiar to me and I to her. We spent the rest of the night talking and getting to know each other.
Then we both began talking about kids and I told her I had a set of quads. She asked me if they were named Pearl, David, Mateo and Eugenio and I said yes. It turns out that this gorgeiou woman was Linda's nanny for the kids.
Before the end of the night I dont know what happened but Renee and I were actively making out. I just knew that I wanted feel her, be with her but I needed to hold back. I needed to gather my thoughts. Renee to me was not just anyone, she was the former nanny of my children. Who could have guessed we would be her at this moment.
Before things could get any hotter than they were, I called Linda over to discuss it with her. For a minute I thought she was going to say that I seduced her when I went to visit. I honestly thought the worse. To my surprise Linda was supportive. She was a little shocked and even made sure that I was not dating her while she was the kids nanny. I told her that I had only met Renee once, well twice now and I really liked her.
Renee and I began to date. I cooked dinner for her. We went to the movies, parks and back to the club. She was amazed at how quiet the house was. I told her that it was not my weekend to take care of the quads.
After several months of dating I knew that she and I would take this further. We both wanted the same things. Sure she was only 24 but to me that did not matter because I loved her. I told her that I was falling deeply in love with her and she told me that she was falling for me too. It just all seem to fall into place for us rather quickly.
I told Renee that I thought it would be a good idea to have her meet Linda's new finacee plus have a nice dinner to get everything out in the open.
On the date of the dinner, Linda excused herself to meet her finacee outside.
"OK so remember not to over react but well there's something I did not tell you"
"What? Are the kids OK?"
"Yes, they are. Um, Marcos is dating the former nanny"
"Are you serious? Ok well lets go, Marcos is starting to stare and probably wonder what you are telling me."
Everything was going fine during dinner until Linda mentioned that Renee needed money to continue her education. I could not believe she said that all the while her rich finacee is right next to her. When dinner finished both Renee and Marcos decided that it was time to tell the kids.
Marcos had told the kids but now he had to tell him that he was going to propose to Renee. the kids were excited since they have known Renee since they were babies. I actually thought Pearla would feel bad or maybe jealous. I got the go ahead from them and i was to porpose tonight.
Renee was shocked when I proposed that she was besides herself. Without pausing she mouthed, "yes".
We dont believe in long engagements. We had a small wedding. I only had the kids and us. Everyone was always busy and besides we just wanted something small. Now we are considering maybe moving to a different household. There is too much history here but Renee says she doesnt mind at all since she can use her funds to redo the house. I didnt want her to spend her money but she was insisting. I just cant believe that our relationship was such a whirlwind.
Author's note:
Marcos drew the ROS of having a shot gun wedding. I sent him downtown with his brothers in hope that he would meet someone. He knew Renee from before. I would have Marcos talk to other girls and immediately the black hearts with x's would appear. The race was between Renee and Opal (the crypto bartender) but just with a few conversations Marcos and Renee hit 100% in their friendship. this is the reason why I choose her.

Here are the Generation 2 "boys". I never have my sims be family oriented. I want to have them hang out more...thus this pic. From left to right: Oscar Simon II, Marcos, Adam, Ian and crouching down Justin.
Here are the Quads. My favorite of them is Mateo who is the furthest to the right. I think that he is so cute. From Left to right: David, Eugenio, Pearla and Mateo.
