No need to worry about Linda. So far she is happily in love with her husband payton and they are busy raising their two kids. Linda's previous kids are still living part time with her. As of now they are busy trying to get their careers up and running. Linda is still recording and trying to get recognized as an artist. Lately her interest has switched from singing jazz to singing children's songs. Her new record is one of the most sought after.

Debbie has finally moved out of her old apartment building and into a new one. For now this will suffice. Her real dream is to move completely out of this town. There are too many of her ex-husband's family running around. Sure she gets along with some of them but still its too much. She has however managed not to go to any parties and run into Ian and his new girlfriend. Rumor has it that he is already cheating her her as well. That brought a smile to Debbie's face but then she got rid of it. She didn't want Mary to go through what she did but she couldn't help feel a tiny bit gleeful.

For now her main priority was raising her boys. Julio, August and Darcy. Julio and August were almost ready to go to college. She prayed and hoped that they both would go but in the end it was their decision. She would make her move after Darcy leaves for college.

Payton and I finally tied the knot. It was a small ceremony but we both loved the simplicity.

We were so happy that we finally had our wedding.

My kids were here, and thats why we decided to take the opportunity to get married.

Almost a year after the wedding we found out we were expecting. As you can guess I had twins. We were not expecting it. We had a girl which we named Xochil and a boy we named Clive. So far life is good.

This is part of my sim extras... Linda used to married to Marcos and now she is living with Payton. I think I will only update with two pics in the future. I will age the kids up but I will not play them.

My kids have grown up so much. I am looking at them and can not even imagine that I would have had these kids when I did. I am so proud of each and every one of them. As for myself I am still singing and still trying to get my second solo album out. The first one was out about four years ago. I doubt anyone even remembers my name any more. As much as I want to quit I dont for the sake of my children.

Eugenio is the one closest to me out of my kids. We play together all the time. I am sad when its time for my kids to go back to their father Marcos. At the same time I am just happy that I managed to get some of their love back. I have to admit that I am actually shocked that Marcos does not say anything negative to the kids about me. When they ask why I was gone I simply say I was on tour and for now they are OK with that. I never mention that I left to have an affair and live my so called "adventure".

A girl has to get out there and date. Me? I am 29 and have not dated that much at all. Sure I have had a few dates here and there but none that I have been ever enthusiatic about.

We met at a record party and we hit it off right away. He the successful producer and contractor while I was the struggling artist. I took the bite and didnt count on this being more than a friendly fling. After all what would an exec. want with me?

I guess we both were looking for love because before we knew it ...we were. He and I saw each other everyday and our love grew strong. I never wanted to admit to myself that I needed a partner, someone to share my life with. My kids were enough but when he came along...I just knew I needed him in my life.

I told the kids when they came around to visit. They didnt show whether they were happy or sad. They just accepted the news. I hear from them that their father has not dated and I guess they figured that we would work things out.
I know Pearla is a little sadden by me dating..but I hope they get to like him as much as I do.

he met with them over lunch in his apartment. He answered their questions as well as asked some of his own. They felt comfortable so I left them to get acquianted with one another.

I know I didnt need to but I decided to talk to Marcos and explain to him my new relationship. I needed him to know that I would be moving in with him and that Marcos needed to meet him. Marcos was surprise but supportive. He gave as much as one would expect of an ex-husband. He wished me the best and proceeded to meet with him.

They talked and I even heard Marcos being asked about our marriage. I cringed a little expecting Marcos to take this opportunity and say how a bad wife and mother I was. Instead he just said that we married way too young. I was surprised and I was grateful that Marcos didnt bad mouth me.

"Linda" marcos said, " I just hope that you know this guy really likes you. Take your time and relax. I am sure you tow will be happy together. I just hope that you are ready"
"Iam Marcos. I love him. Thanks for not bad mouthing me."
"Why would I? No matter what happened between us..well its over and your the mother of my kids. You deserve to be happy as much as I do. I have to get going".

Later that evening he proposed and of course I said, "yes".

I look at Pearla and I am amazed at how much she has grown. I spend the most time with her because she is my baby girl. The boys keep asking for their dad but now they realize that im their mom.

The quads are here with me for their planned stay. It hurts me when I have to give them to Marcos but soon they will be older and hopefully understand that we do this for their benefit. For now the new activity table I bought them gives them plenty to do.

I still work as a lounge singer and am trying to get another record recorded thus meet my new nanny. She is awesome with my children. She should be for the $20,000 fee I paid to find her. She is all the help I could ask for.

My ex-sister-in-law Amarilis came by to see how I have been doing. I know that she wants me to feel welcomed to the family. I know that no one really has ousted me but I dont feel as though I belong. I tried to tell her that but she was clueless. If it were not for my kids trust me I would no longer have anything to do with the Barillas family. Don't get me wrong. They are all nice but its over whelming being a Barillas and their legacy lifestyle. I still remember how Marcos would love to have them all over and it was way too much to bear. This is when I thank god for my small apartment and not needing to have to host a party.

In the mornings I help get breakfast ready while the nanny helps feeding and clothing the kids. I know it may seem like im not a hands on mom but in reality I am. I have been busy teaching them how to use the potty and trust me it is no easy task.

The days that I have to record the nanny stays at home alone with them. I do not know how Marcos does it without a nanny. Of course as of now he is unable to afford one. I on the other hand have money saved up from my tour that I can. If it werent for my savings then I would be in Marcos' boat.

The night before Marcos had to pick them up we tucked them and wished them good night. I have informed the nanny that I would have to let her go. I was sad because she is such a great help but I simply cannot have her stay on just to be a maid. I am not that well off.
She was saddened because she grew to love my kids. I just hope that she finds another job. I heard that Dylan Barillas just had twins, maybe he could use her. I guess I can use my old "barillas connections" to get her a new job.

After its all said and done I have to get back to the routine of being on my own. It wierd being able to finally get back to my work out routine. next time the Quads stay with me they will be 5 years old. I cant believe it.

Maura

I finally managed to get an apartment that I can be proud of. After my divorce with Consuelo I was literally left for broke. I know Consuelo is struggling with her own financial issues but im glad to see that my situation is improving. I still dont know why we ended up in divorce. I guess it was my getting pregnant with another set of Quads that pushed us to the max. Now that my first kids are in college, I have to concentrate on the younger ones. I want to be there with them but its hard living in two households. In order for them to have some stability I allowed them to live with Consuelo and I visit them. I need to work on visiting them more than I do now... its hard but I have to improve my relationship with my children.

My son Alfredo called me with the news that Dylan, my other son, just got married. I was questioning him and he told me to just call Dylan for the information. One thing that I do not like is that my kids get mouthy with me. I wish that I could turn back the hands of time but obviously I am unable to do so. I still can not believe that Consuelo never called me to let me know our son got married.

I decided to call the local match maker to see what she could offer me. I havent really dated since I dont want the drama. Besides how to break it to someone that you have 8 kids? The matchmaker was nice. She asked several questions and made me feel that I had been wasting my time before now. I am just happy that she gave me hope in finding someone. Her fee was hefty... I thought you couldnt put a price on love? I guess you can in this case.

Almost a month later she came by and said she found someone for me. I really couldnt believe it. I know that I wanted to date but part of me was just scared to go through with it.

"Now, you have to remain calm and just focus on what you really want. Based on what you told me Maura, this should be your perfect match. She too is looking for her perfect match. Just remember to take your time."
"Thank you so much. When am I scheduled to meet her? Do I call her first or?"
"She will be coming shortly. I believe in first impressions are the best. If you two do not hit if off then we will try again... but something tells me that you will be happy with this match."

Her name is Tammy Thompson...at first we were both really shy to talk about ourselves so we decided to take a walk around the neighborhood. I had this immediate attraction to her. She explained how she just got out of a long relationship and she needed to get out there to date. The match maker was right because we were instantly attracted to one another.

I began to fall for Tammy hard. Before I knew it we were seeing each other non-stop. I loved feeling alive again. I had not been with anyone since Consuelo and I have to admit that this felt so good.

Of course, Tammy proposed and I was shocked that she would do it so quickly. Tammy didnt want to wait for something that felt so right to move foward. I did have some concern since she didnt have any children and I had eight. I was not looking to have more children but Tammy was fine with that. I decided that before I made my yes official she should meet my family.
Tammy was nervous but knew this step had to happen sooner or later.

As I mentioned before, not being around the kids a lot worried me that our relationship was unrepairable. Shaila and Carson came by along with my other children to meet Tammy. Shaila was so supportive and that made me happy.

"Mom I can not believe that your actually dating someone. Does mom know that your dating someone?"
"No, I havent discussed it with her yet. I did invite her over as well. Hopefully we can all sit down together and talk."

Carson came by on his spring break. His college days were going good so we I was happy that he was a Junior and getting ready to graduate next year. As we were catching up I noticed Consuelo came in. I needed to talk to her before she found out about Tammy.

"Hi, thanks for coming Consuelo."
"I wouldnt miss it for the world. I like your new place."
"I do too. Listen I needed to talk to your about Tammy. She and I are kind of well dating and I wanted you to meet her."
"OK... I wanted to talk to you about something. Can we perhaps go somewhere private?"

The minute Consuelo and I were alone she began to intensly flirt with me.
"Whats the deal Consuelo? Does this have to do with Tammy?"
"No. Maura... I have missed you and I need you with me. I still cant believe that you dated someone else."
"dated? No im dating. Consuelo... I tried to get over this and have us be together but you didnt want to hear it."
"I have been stupid...."
"its too late, im getting engaged to Tammy tonight."
"no your not because you want to be with me. We belong together and I wont let you make that mistake"

Before I knew it Consuelo wrapped her arms around my neck and began to kiss me ever so slowly. I had almost forgotten how sweet her lips were. I couldnt resist and I all wanted to do was to take our clothes off. I forgot about everyone around us. I just wanted to feel her skin closer to mine.

We were lost in ourselves when we heard Tammy's voice interrupting us. I forgot her name... all I could think of was, 'the red head'.

"Maura... would you care to explain this to me?" asked Tammy.
"Tammy, um this is my ex-wife Consuelo. Consuelo this is Tammy."
"I would say nice to meet you but you have your lips all over my finacee. You do know your relationship with her is over correct?"
"Well Tammy that is something that needs to be decided between Maura and Myself. Last time I checked you were not in our relationship. Maura we need to finish our discussion."

"In case you havent noticed. We have a party going on downstairs and I need Maura with me. She needs to come with me to announce our engagement. Her having one kiss with you has not changed anything between us. Just because your scared of losing her does not give you the"

"Wait one second. Honey... I will never lose Maura as much as she will never lose me. In case you didnt know we have children together. That will tie us for the rest of our lives. As for you, I didnt even know your existence until I walked into this room."

The next thing I knew they were fighting and I kept trying to pull Tammy off of Consuelo.


Is it bad that I thought it was so hot that Consuelo actually beat Tammy? I didnt know what to say but I knew that I had to diffuse this situation quickly.

"Consuelo are you OK?"
"Im fine. I think that I should go. Maura just think about what I said. I love you and I know I have made mistakes...but we are still in time to fix them"

Consuelo left and I was there left with Tammy to pick up whatever was left of our so called engagement party. I never did announce my engagement that night. As a matter of fact Tammy was so embarrassed that she left and ceased to return my calls. I wanted to explain to her that I was sorry about the whole situation but she never answered. Now I needed to think about and process what happened with Consuelo.

Linda had left Viramontes over two years ago and was busy getting her singing career on track. She began to sing on a small tour with her boyfriend Jonah Powers. She was living life on the fast pace. Back in Viramontes she was a 23 year old with a newborn quadruplets. Her husband was Marcos Barillas but he kicked her out when she voiced her need to go on tour. Here she was two years later, she was happy had way more money but she was still lonely.

Narrated by Linda:
" Cant you see? that I need you as you need me...oh oh oh"
I got on stage and sang my heart out. I loved the feeling of being the center of attention. It had been two hard years for our group but finally we cut a record and were waiting for the money. As much as I loved the stage, I missed my family back home. My children were now two years old.

After the set, Jonah came up to me and asked if I was OK. It was time to tell him that I was done with this tour. I needed to go back to Viramontes and take care of my responsibility. I began this tour by having an affair with Jonah. Many months later I am so bored with him that I could scream. I felt bad because I left my kids behind for this. Now that I know that I could achieve stardom I was finally satisfied. Surprisingly Jonah understood that this tour was over. Somehow I have to tell him that this relationship is also over. For now I have to take one step at a time.

Go figure that the day I get back its pouring rain. No No this is not my house. I actually rented an apartment here for now. Eventually I want to buy a house but for now this apartment will do. I needed to contact Marcos to schedule to see my kids. We had a lot of things to discuss but the most important thing was to see my kids.

Marcos and I decided to meet at my apartment to discuss the details on seeing my children. I felt nervous. I didnt know whether or not I would maybe feel something for Marcos or whether he would yell at me and not allow me to see my kids. After all we did need to discuss the divorce proceedings.
I came out to the hallway and he was sitting there. I looked at him and was amazed how older he looked. I imagined that he would stay the same way as I left him but I thought wrong.
"Hello Marcos. thank you for coming to see me on such short notice."
"its no problem. Im still on duty so I need to know what you wanted? We also need to discuss our divorce proceedings. I havent heard from you so were scheduled to appear at court next week to end our marriage"
"Oh, I didnt think you would file with out me."

"Linda, you left. Of course I would file paperwork. I need my life and my children's life to move on."
"Your not going to let me see the kids are you?"
"Linda. I am not that cruel. You can see the kids at any time you want. The only stipulation is that they live with me. "
"and who decided that? I never decided to leave them with you."
"Linda you did that when you went on your tour. You cant just leave and expect everything to be frozen in time. It doesnt work that way."
"Marcos this is a lot to take can we sit down over there... I need to gather my thoughts."
"Sure"

"Well... is there anything you would like to ask me Marcos?"
"No. well yes there is. Are you staying in town or are you going back on tour?"
"I plan to stay for now. I have a gig downtown but I cut a record and may have to travel. "
"thats great. I m happy for you."
"Are you not going to ask what went wrong? Or where I have been?"
"No Linda. Listen I dont have much time. Nothing went wrong on my end. You decided to leave with Jonah and start a new life. I dont care where you have been. We can work things out for our kids but thats it. I dont want you back in my personal life. I just want my kids, our kids to be happy. I am happy. I dont want to hear why you left. I assumed you would be back for the kids and thats it."
"I know you dont care Marcos but I need to get this off my chest. I always wanted to be a singer. I always dreamed of being on stage and singing a song that everyone knew the words to. I know I made a mistake in having my affair with Jonah. I was lonely and with four kids on my own it was more than I could handle. I needed to escape but I know I cant make up for lost time but I want to be part of my kids life."
"And you will be ....Linda.. Listen im sorry but I have to go back to work."

In the weeks that followed Jonah had set up some gigs downtown for us to play. I didnt want to stop my career but it was not a high priority any more. Talking with Marcos made me realize that I actually missed having a family with him. I know that he would never love me again. I am not even dreaming about it. Marcos is the type of guy that once he doesnt love you anymore its simply over. I sang my heart out and as I was singing a sad song I looked at Jonah and its as if he knew something was up.

"Thanks for singing tonight Linda. I know that your still fixing things with Marcos and the kids. Can we get together and maybe go out for dinner. We need to reconnect you know. I think with all the chaos we have lost touch. We have been together almost two years. We need to celebrate."
"Jonah lets head over there and talk a bit. OK?"

I told Jonah that it was not working out. I know that he knew but he didnt want to accept it. He thought that me leaving my marriage was proof enough of my commitment for him. In the end he accepted, but he was sorry to see me go. I knew it would be hard for him to see me on a day to day basis so I quit the band. He was upset at me quitting but understood. Now I would wait and receive my residuals from the record that we cut.
Both of us were excited when we cut the record. Now we just sat there looking at each other. I was happy that my dream was somewhat accomplished. Jonah on the other hand didnt want to end his dream there. Eventually he would find another singer, form another band and continue rocking until his heart stopped. This would be the last day that I ever saw Jonah in my lifetime. He plainly disappeared.

After our divorce was final, Marcos came over and brought Pearl to see me. I wanted to see all four children but Marcos thought it would be best to ease them into it. Marcos was always working and it was strange to see him in his uniform everytime I saw him.

Pearl was so big. I just felt horrible knowing that I left her and her brothers behind. When Pearl first got there she was so fussy. She didnt want to be held nor did she want any of my attention. Finally I convinced her to allow me to hold her. I know it will take time but my heart just hurts thinking about my kids not knowing until today who I was.

I snuggled my little Pearl and promised her and myself that we would never be separated as we were these past two years.

Marcos came to pick up Pearl and I just wanted to hold on to her forever.
"Listen Linda. I think that if your willing we should have the kids live with you for some time then with me. We need to decide. I dont want them moving around too much but at the same time I want them to get to know you."
"I think thats a good idea. I will have to get a new apartment because we wouldnt fit here. I think I may even get a small house. Give me a month and they can come live with me for a few months OK?"
"Thats fine. OK well Pearl and I have to get home. Linda its nice having you back for the kids. Take care."
