My parents came over and it was hard to tell them why Candice was not there. Things have not been that well between us lately. It seems that Candice is more and more out of the house than here.

I occupy my time working out and trying to improve myself more every day.

I finally caught up to Candice. It's strange on how she and I live together but lately have not seen each other.

I tried to get romantic with her and to my astonishment she pushed me away. She said she was not interested in having sex. She just wanted to talk to me.

She told me she needed space and that she was going to stay with a friend for a while. I could not believe my ears but I was so pissed so I decided to let her go. I think she wanted me to beg her but I was just ready to go ahead and move on.

Call it Karma or not but my ex- Veronica Wade was in town for a conference. She asked if I was free for lunch. I honestly was shocked when I saw her. Gone was the boyish frame and boy cut.

She hugged me so hard that I was surprised. I was glad to see her.

During lunch Veronica asked me what my dating situation was. I told her the truth about Candice and I taking a much needed break.

That seemed to satisfy Veronica. She asked me on a date post breakup. I do not know how to feel about that. I have lived with Candice for more than two years. I do not know how well our break up will be. Still it does not hurt to know that someone else out there is interested.

The relationship between my twin brother Aaron and I has been improving more and more. For now he comes to visit when he gets a spare chance. With so many kids I know that its rare.

We talk about old times but of course he always tends to ask if I ever want to get my college degree. For right now I first need to find out my financial situation. If Candice moves out then I have to pay a bigger portion of the rent. Aaron does not see why I just don't change the locks and call it quits with Candice. I just cant do that..its been more than 2 years together.

Candice finally returned my calls and came over to talk about our situation. I think in her mind she believes that I will always be waiting for her to decide about us.

She told me she needed more time to think about us. She was not sure about being gay and needed to really find out. In my mind that meant she was interested in someone else. I begged her to tell me if it was another man or woman. She denied it all.

It broke my heart but I told her, "Candice I can't do this anymore. I know you say you need time to figure yourself out but I dont have time to give. Either you love me or you don't and by your actions is don't. I want you to get your things out of here. Its done"
I got up to go to the kitchen. I was not going to give her the satisfaction of seeing me cry.

She followed me and for a minute it looked like she was going to ask me to try again. Instead she asked if I could give her a week to move her things out. Just like that we ended. I look back now and should have recognized the signs of the end of the looming end.

Candice file got corrupt because she kept jumping every time I asked her to do something. Also Isabel did not get any engagement or marriage wants for Candice at all. I thought their relationship needed time but the minute Isabel saw Veronica she rolled kissing wants. It surprised me how fast she rolled engagement want for Veronica. I guess Isabel has not forgotten her high school sweetheart.

We have finally moved in together officially. I thought it would be great living together but we both noticed how tiny my apartment really is. Candice's graduation from college allowed her to network and get a job as a Crime Scene investigator. With a new job we began discussing moving into a new apartment or home together.

We found this new apartment complex that offered spacious apartments for rent. Candance persuaded me to agree on renting a three story apartment. I thought it was a little too big but Candance said there is no such thing as too much space. Rent was for this apartment was close to $4000. With her job and mine combined we should be fine. After semi-settling in we invited my parents over for lunch.

Turns out my mom Amarilis is at home trying to fight the flu. My mom Meadow came and she was excited to see our apartment. The moment we were alone she also expressed concern that the apartment was way too big for us. She even asked if we were pregnant. I am beginning to think she may be right.

I came home one day and heard Candance sobbing. Our apartment was still empty so her sobs echoed loudly. She just blurted out that she was fired from her job due to lack of experience. I could not believe my ears! With this news I did not know how in the world we could afford the rent for this apartment.

After a few weeks of not being able to find a job I hugged Candance and told her we needed to move desperately. She stared crying and said she felt like she failed me. Thank goodness the landlord let us lease another smaller apartment on the same lot. I just hope that Candance is able to find another job sooner rather than later.

Life after leaving college has been pretty boring. I bought this table in hopes of doing much more. I don't want to live in this tiny apartment my whole life.

Candice Perry and I are getting along much better than ever. She is finally graduating this year and I could not be happier. She tried to see if we should move in together. I agreed that we should try it out. What more could I ask for?

Waking up next to Candice is the best thing that could have ever happened to me. I am more in love than ever with her.

Isabel Barillas--Chapter 2

College life sucks. I did drop out although my moms were so against it. I tried to come back with a new attituge and maybe continue college but it was a no go.

I ended up moving out of Aarons house and moving into a shared house. I thought Aaron and the quads were bad? These two were worse. I could not even get anything done. I tried to look for a job but everything was part-time designed for college students.

After a year of getting no where, I decided that it was time to head back to viramontes and call it a life.

I finally came back to Viramontes and I was happy to find this small apartment. I didnt think I could find one yet I did. I saw this one and I loved it. I had to get it ready since my moms would soon come over and judge it like crazy.

I decided to get out to the night club scene and see how its going. How odd and awful is it that my uncle Ian was there? I didnt think that he would even visit a club since he was caught cheating and now is about to marry the woman carrying his child.

I guess he read my thoughts because he told me that he was not there to cheat. He was there to take some stress off. It had been a long time since I hung out with Uncle Ian but it was cool. I left soon telling him I had to work the next day.

My moms came home and they were excited about my place. My mom Amarilis was shocked to see that my apartment was tidy. She had no clue that I had spent about 5 hours cleaning.

My mom Meadow was excited that I was out living on my own. I am just happy that I found some point of common ground.

What really surprised me is that Candice Perry came to see me at my new apartment. I thought that she was going to move to another city. She told me that she decided to move to Viramontes and to see if I was still single.

We went out on a few dates and the chemistry between us was so strong. I wanted to kiss her so bad but I didnt know how I was supposed to do it. I wanted to kiss her and well... I just decided to do it.


One thing lead to another and we ended up in bed. I know that we both are young but it feels great having a girlfriend.

Now we are officially dating and it feels great to have Candice in my life. I just hope that we are happy as my parents are.

Yes we finally made it to college. In the beginning, it was my twin brother Aaron always moping around for his wife Heather. I really don't understand how they are supposed to both finish college but they are. I think that its best for them to work things out. Before I knew it, it was all of us living here together. All of us in this small crowded house and trust me its crowded.

at first it was fun seeing my brother become an actual parent. I do not think both of them did not know how it was going to be. Now that my moms are not here to take care of the kids..well its a whole different ball game. Do not get me wrong. I love my nieces and nephews but I also love my peace and quiet.

I have no idea how Heather does it all. The burden of the quads seems to fall on her than my brother. The other day I caught her studying at 5 in the morning.

Contrary to Heather I was another story. I barely could keep up with the studying and going to class. The noise with the kids was so unbearable at times.


I had enough and I told him and Heather that I was going to go back home to visit for a while. After all it was the end of our sophmore year and I was ready to get the hell out of this house. Aaron looked like I was going to go and snitch on him to our parents. I didnt think that at all. All I wanted to do was to go home to peace and quiet!
